Bring in a natural element. Glass tables can seem a little bit cold, but this doesn’t have to be the case. You might be able to find a table with floral etching on it. Another option would be to go with a table that has a very unique stand. You might feel to find a coffee or dining table that have base made from natural tree branches. This can juxtapose the modern and organic worlds. It’s also an interesting take on this kind of furniture because often times this can seem a little bit predictable. You can totally give people something new to think about with your design style.
Glass tables can seem quite modern. They will fit in well with contemporary sofas. You might want to find pieces with stainless steel accents to update a traditional piece of furniture because this will make it seem a lot more hip and cool. Plus, this really isn’t very expensive. You will need to be aware that these often seem to have a lot of fingerprints on them so it might not be the perfect solution if you have kids in your home. At the same time just right doing a little bit of cleaning you can really have a lot of sparkle and light to your room.

This can also be very traditional in nature. It allows you to bring in a lot of scroll work in a beautiful metallic color. Maybe you just want to use these items in rooms where the kids don’t spend a lot of time for their own safety as well as to protect your furniture.
Another option for this kind of furniture is to change out the finish. You might be able to find a frosted glass table. This will give a unique look and a more contemporary style. You might even be able to turn it into a craft project with a glass etching kit yourself. You could even use the design on the table to showcase the frosted glass against the clear glass. You could write out a word, monogram, or just use stripes. This will give you a one-of-a-kind look while using the furniture that you already have in your home without spending a lot of money.
